Our beloved Michael, left this world on Friday, May 20, 2016 surrounded by his family and friends. Michael was born May 14, 1965 in Wake County to Rebecca Clark Peed and Thomas Cleveland Jones. He was a heavy equipment mechanic with Pro-Tech. Michael was a diehard Tarheel fan especially during basketball season. A true born and bred southern man. He liked his NASCAR racing and was a big Dale Earnhardt fan. His girls were the center of his life and he still called them his babies.

A service to celebrate his life will be 3:00 pm on Monday, May 23, 2016 at L. Harold Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.

His family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service on Monday from 2:00-3:00 pm.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Hannah Jones (Zach Jones) of Aiken SC, and Taylor Jones of Greenville; his grandchildren, Ryllan Jones, Harrison Jones, and granddaughter on the way, Caroline Jones. He often said, "They melted his heart". His longtime companion, Angie Moore of Apex; mother and step father, Rebecca and Terry Peed, of Stella; Father and Step mother, Thomas and Judy Jones of Garner; brother, Jeff Jones (Judy Jones); half-brother, Paul Jones;
step brothers, Steven and Phillip Peed, and their families, and Brian and Mark Wamble; and nephew, Connor Jones.

Michael was preceded in death by his MeMa and Poppy, WV and Mae Clark, and Mama and Granddaddy, Buddy and Doris Jones.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your favorite Childrens Charity.
