May you find comfort and strength in knowing that God loves you and he cares for you, through talking to God in prayer, and from God's Word, the Bible. Psalm 36:7 says: "How precious your loyal love is, O God! In the shadow of your wings, the sons of men take refuge". Psalm 62:8 "Pour out your hearts before him. God is a refuge for us". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 46:1; 1 Peter 5:7)

Having known Mrs. Henry most of my life, she will forever be in my heart. Her life was the epitome of a true southern lady. With grace, charm and confidence she portrayed qualities throughout her life seldom seen today. Mrs. Henry would put together impromptu parties for the Wendell football team after games in the 1960's. She loved entertaining. Having a yearly party in her home for customers and friends, she spent days making treats to be enjoyed at this social event looked forward to year to year. Elizabeth's Antique's built behind her home was visited by folks from near and far for years before moving to Main Street for the duration of her time in the antique business. Traveling to the northeastern states to purchase antiques to resupply her store was a trek she enjoyed and on return brought folks in, in anticipation to see her hand picked treasures. After retirement she spent time walking every day, visiting and taking treats to friends. She recently renewed her driver's license and commented to Beth that she did not have to renew for "five years". An avid reader Mrs. Henry would bring Time magazines after reading to my door along with many times homemade cake or fudge. We would visit for a while and when leaving, i would watch her walk down the steps, get in her car and drive away to her next stop. Visited Mrs. Henry last Thursday and she proudly showed me her dining table, set with fine china awaiting Sunday dinner with her family. She lived a full life sharing it with others. i as well as those whose lives she touched will miss this lovely lady so.
