2 Corinthians 1:3,4 gives us the assurance that "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies" is "the God of all comfort" and he comforts us in all our trials". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (1 Peter 5:7; Psalm 36:7) jw.org

A chance meeting ... through our children ... Brooke and Kelly ... Sara was so young... Larry loved to dance and cook and make us all laugh! No matter the day, the time, he always welcomed the kids and the adults!!! He wouldn't let me sit at home and sulk by myself...I HAD to go with them dancing...and I'm so so glad I did! To you, Carolyn, Brooke and Sara, my heart breaks for you because I know a portion of what he means to all of you. I will be here for you, whatever you need or whenever you need it... May God wrap you in his loving arms throughout the days ahead and give you peace and comfort. I love you all!!

My heartfelt condolences during your time of bereavement. Many can relate to what it feels like to be touched by death. What has helped my family to cope were scriptures such as John 5:28,29; Revelation 21:3,4; 1 Peter 5:7. Reading and thinking on these scriptures can help to bring you comfort and strength in the weeks and months to come. Knowing that your loving heavenly Father understands and cares about what you're going through at this time can be a real source of strength and comfort.

Momma Craven, Sara, and Brooke. There is never words to say when Lossing someone you love, especially someone who was as amazing as dad. Your family has been apart of my life 15 years...always have been my second family. Dad was one of a kind and truly one of the best men I've known. The memories that I alone have from being apart of you guys through the years I definitely treasure. I can't imagine how you feel but all I know is that I will be here for everyone of you every step of the way. I pray so hard for you..for comfort, peace, understanding and strength to get through it. Dad is flying high with that beautiful smile holding each and everyone of you. It's never goodbye it's see you later, carry the memories that last a lifetime..tell his jokes..teach the babies all he taught you..he lives on through the life's he touched and the loved ones he leaves behind. I love you guys so much.

Carolyn, Brooke & Sara, our hearts are breaking for you. We love you so much. Larry's smile was one of pure joy...his smile reached from ear to ear and he was a genuine person....always willing to help if he could. He was like the Pied Piper with children....especially his grandchildren. They stayed stuck to him like glue almost from birth....he was truly adored by all 5 grandchildren. I have many fond memories of watching them follow him around outside or ride on the tractor with him, or trying to help him fix something...it was just his way....they connected. He brought us into the Craven family from day 1 and always made us feel welcome. Our hope is that one day the pain you are feeling today will begin to heal and your hearts will be filled with the love he had for you and the lifetime of memories that will remain with you always. I don't know if anything will ever need fixin' in Heaven; however, I'm sure they have a workshop just for him up there with a radio tuned to Country and a BBQ grill with something good cooking on it. I know he will continue to watch over you and all of his family. All of our love and prayers are with you.

My heart goes out to you, You 2 girls had a great father and you already know this that is not something anyone can tell you. I remember when you two were very small children you were his eye balls then and I am sure as you have gotten older that didn't change. I saw your Mom and Dad not to long ago and they were telling me all about the grandchildren and the new one on the way. You could always see the joy in his eyes. I hope that you find comfort and peace in the days ahead. Always in our hearts and prayers.
