When I am faced with difficult times, I find comfort in knowing that God loves us and he cares for us, through talking to God in prayer, and from God's Word, the Bible. Psalm 36:7 says: "How precious your loyal love is, O God! In the shadow of your wings, the sons of men take refuge". Psalm 62:8 "Pour out your hearts before him. God is a refuge for us". I have suffered the loss of three family members due to automobile accidents and my heart goes out to the family at this time. Please accept my sincere condolences. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Smith,
It is with a heavy heart that we send this message to you. Sadly, we have learned about the passing of your beloved son Jeremy. There are simply no words that can adequately express what it is to suffer the loss of a beloved child. We are bereaved parents who have also experienced this same devastating loss and we want to reach out to you in behalf of our group: The Compassionate Friends of Wake County. We are a non-profit and non-denominational support group that consists solely of parents who have lost children of all ages and causes. We welcome everyone. We are part of the worldwide organization The Compassionate Friends which can be accessed at www.compassionatefriends.org. Our group meets twice a month every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 7:30PM at Hayes Barton Baptist Church, 1800 Glenwood Ave. in Raleigh. There is someone at the desk to advise you where to go. The Bible writer, Job asked the same question please read, Job 14:14-15. God is eager to resurrect your loved one who are now sleeping in the grave. We are heartbroken, devastated! Pictures run through my mind, Jeremy as a child, the cutest and happiest youngun you'd ever want see. He loved that sister with all that he was and was a brother to all her friends. Sparkling blue eyes, sweet and genuine through and through. I know God must have needed him more than we do but that's hard to accept. We loved this boy and praise God for sharing him with us. I'll see him in every sunrise and know "it's not dark anymore".
