May you find comfort and strength in knowing that God loves you and he cares for you, through talking to God in prayer, and from God's Word, the Bible. Psalm 36:7 says: "How precious your loyal love is, O God! In the shadow of your wings, the sons of men take refuge". Psalm 62:8 "Pour out your hearts before him. God is a refuge for us". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 46:1; 1 Peter 5:7)

I only found out about Brodie passing yesterday. I am very saddend by the news. I assisted in writing the article in the "Bermuda Run Living" magazine. I enjoyed the stories he shared with me. Brodie could have easily written a book about his golf adventures. Brodie will be sorely missed, especially on the driving range. My heart goes out to his family at this difficult time. God bless.

Caroline and family,
I was very saddened yesterday to see Brodie’s obituary in the Raleigh N&O. While it has been many years since I have seen the two of you, I remember Brodie fondly. It appears he led a remarkable life and all of us share in your loss.
With much sympathy,
Kirby

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with and the family. What a warrior he was in so many ways; may good memories sustain you as the days pass. You were such a wonderful wife which was so greatly appreciated. Take care of yourself.

Caroline -
I just wanted to let you know how very sorry I am about Brodie. I remember what a great baseball player he was at Guilford and what loving, friendly people you both were. I am so very sorry for your loss but happy for the wonderful years you have had together. May God bless you and keep you in His care.

Great memories of a good friend from earlier years at Security Life and Hanes. Thinking about you, Caroline, and know you have many precious memories too of your years together. Brodie was special.

We are so sorry to hear about Brodie's passing. I know we have lost touch over the years since we lost Carolle, but we still have fond memories of you guys. You were such special friends with Carolle and Harold ever since the old Guilford days. She loved both of you very much. You were more like family than friends. And Kathy and I both enjoyed the time we shared together, even though it was sometimes sad. I only got to play golf with Brodie one time, but I remember it well. Brodie and I played Harold and Walter one day at Duck. (Basically, it was Brodie playing the two of them. I didn't help very much.) Brodie played his usual great game, and was a great partner, and fun to play with.

Caroline, please know that we are praying for you and your family during these difficult days.

I was so sad to find this today. I grew up in Wendell watching Brodie play basketball and most likely have a picture somewhere in my scrapbook. He was a wonderful man and I am so sorry for your loss.

I got to know Brodie through my wonderful friend and his daughter in law Marcia Baker. He was a wonderful special man that always made you smile no matter how bad he may have felt or what struggles he was going through. God gained a perfect angel. He will be so missed. But comfort comes knowing he in heaven showing everyone how to play golf left-handed. I may not have know you Brodie for many years but for the time I did get to know you and have you as a friend I will always cherish those moments. Love you dearly and miss you much.
