Yvonne was born in Garner, NC to the late Connie and Vivian Holder. She attended Garner High School and then started her career at International Paper Company. She was a smart business woman and served her community by founding Lisa Dee’s Flowers and Things. She then had many faithful customers as a Sales Associate at Baby’s R Us where she retired. 

She was preceded in death by her husbands Lawrence Whitley and Charles Hinton.  

Yvonne had a fierce love for her family, especially her four children. She was a strong, independent woman with a loving heart for everyone who knew her. 

A service to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, July 9, 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545. Burial Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:45 pm at the funeral home.

She is survived by her brother, Mack Holder (Quida); children: Pam Whitley Christy (Ken), Lisa Whitley Richardson (Mike), David Whitley (Janice), and Johnny Whitley (Sherre); grandchildren: Clark, Colby, Michael, Taylor, Josh, Blake, Heather, Lawrence, Erica; great-grandchildren: Carsyn, Logan, Avery and 1 baby on the way; special nephew, Robbie Whitley, as well as her beloved Beagle, Sunshine. She also had many special extended family and friends.
