I had the honor of sitting for the first state board administered by Mr. Barnes. In my many years as an optician, he was always the helpful, caring, professional that he was the first time meeting him.
Mr Willard was one of the best additions that could have happened to the optical profession. He will has been greatly missed.
My sincere condolences and prayers go to his family and all who loved him.

To Bill and the Barnes family, you are in my special thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of loss. Bro. Willard was a friend to all he met along life's journey and extended that friendship with a smile and compassion for others. While his days of physical struggle here on earth are over, he will be missed by all who knew him. May Bro. Willard now rest in eternal peace with His Lord and Savior, for which he so deserved.

We are so saddened by the lost of Willard, but we know he is in a much better place. We think of all of the good times we have had with him & Sarah....he was truly like a brother to us. We know all of us will miss him, but one day we will meet again because if you are saved, we will see him in Heaven!

We know that Willard will be missed by each of you but we also know that he is with our Heavenly Father resting in peace. We pray that our Lord will provide each of you with the spiritual and physical strength that you need as you mourn your loss. We regret that we will be unable to attend final services for Willard since we are away from home for July 4th weekend.
