Dennis just text me on my phone this morning to let me know about Roberts passing. I am so sorry for your loss. We had so many great times with him at Lake Mirl when him and Dennis use to lifeguard there. I loved him just like a brother and Linda just like a sister. We kind of all grew up together at Lake Mirl. Those sure were the good ole days. I tried looking him and Linda up on facebook a few times to reconnect with them but I never could find them.

I became friends with Robert through Lizard Lick Pub. He love to sing but after his first bout with lung cancer his voice was strained. He also love to play his harmonica and our song that we did together was Train Train by Blackfoot. He also love to sing Jimmy Buffett songs with me at karaoke. We became Fast Friends and although our friendship wasn't very long I will always hold a special place in my heart for Him. Such a kind soul and never negative in spite of all that he had to bear. I will miss our cheeseburger lunches at the picnic table and seeing him on Thursday nights at the pub. I know that he is in heaven watching down and probably enjoying seeing all the people that think about him. We all love you, Robert. We will see you on the flip side in the future. Godspeed.

God this hurts so bad..my heart is breaking into a million little pieces. You were my only brother and I still can't believe you're gone. This wasn't how things were supposed to be. We were supposed to have a whole lifetime together. You were the first man I looked up to...my first love. You helped make and mold me into the person I am today. You taught me to be slow to anger and quick to love...you taught me to be humble and to grateful for every thing and every one in my life. How am I supposed to go on living without you??? Save me a space beside you and mama in heaven for me. I will see you again on the other side. I love you with every fiber of my being. Rock on Robbie!
Forever your little sister, Deanna

My condolences go out to his family and friends. Linda, I want to thank you especially for taking care of my good friend thru his darkest times. You were there when he needed you the most and I will be forever grateful. Please take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering and he is in a much better place. Love you all!
