Inez Plyler Peoples, age 92, passed away February 18, 2017, after many months of declining health. Inez was born in Atlanta, Ga. on April 12, 1924 to the late Lonnie Preston Plyler and Berch Funderburk Plyler. Coming from Park Forest IL, Inez and her family settled in Wake County and became very active at Bethlehem Baptist Church. 

Graveside service 11:00 am, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Raleigh National Cemetery 501 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh, NC, 27610. 

Service of praise and worship will be held 12:00 pm, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 8400 Poole Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 

The family will receive relatives and friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545. 

Surviving: son, Timothy Peoples (Leslie), West Lafayette, IN; grandchildren, Rebecca Black (Todd), Avery Croteau (Ana), Rhyannon, James, Benjamin Peoples, Andrew Batrom, Brianna Barger (Landon), Carl Spaulding; great-grandchildren: Faith, Taylor, Tyson, Sage, Sofia, Nicolas, Diego, Violet; brother in-law, Brantley Peoples (Winnie); daughter-in-law, Kathy Peoples; special nieces: Lori, Jana, Juli.

In addition to her parents Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Avery Glenn Peoples on January 1, 1977.  Daughter, Faith Croteau, and a son, Avery Glenn Peoples, Jr. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church Debt Retirement Fund.
