Walker children, please know how very much you were loved. Dave got the biggest kick out of what was happening next in the family. He came out to my house in Knightdale years ago and we sat outside and talked about life's twists and turns. We visited a winery one Saturday on a whim because Dave was always up for doing things. I used to call him Kayak Dave because he had a kayak back then. Your Dad was a good man with a big heart. Abundant peace to you all.

We offer Dave's family our condolences & will continue to lift you in prayer to our Great Comforter. I am so grateful we were reconnecting after so many years apart. It seems he was deeply blessed, and appreciated it. Not everyone realizes their blessings; we are glad he did.

Dear Walker Family - I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I worked with him at BTI and at tw telecom. Dave always made me laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
