No one can think of Gene without smiling or laughing, he had that affect on everyone he met. He was the most giving person I have ever met and his most important gift was the little piece of his heart that he gave to every single person he met and we thank you for that wonderful gift!

My heart overflows with fondness, love, and admiration for Mr. Eugene and his sweet family. I remember so many fun times from childhood to adult with this fine family. He filled our lives with laughter and love. Mr. Eugene will be missed, but always remembered as a fine, caring Friend. Love to each and every family member. May God fill you with comfort and peace in the coming days and beyond.

Eugene was a few years older that me but I remember, while growing up, the enjoyment he got out of mischief, just having fun. What impressed me most about Eugene was his and his brother, James Doyt's, dedication and devotion in the care of their mother during her last years. That alone earned him his Angels Wings. My condolences to Kathy, Janet, James Doyt, Sue and the remainder of his family.

I can only smile when I remember Gene. He had a million ways to make people smile and welcomed me when I was a "new" pastor at Corinth Baptist Church. I will be remembering Gene and his family Wednesday at 11:00 during the service.

To the family and friends of Eugene. Sorry for your loss. Gene and I would email each other on a regular basis. We both have Rheumatoid Arthritis. We would talk about what medicine was good and what was not. I will miss him telling me all his jokes. I will see you in Heaven one of these days.
