Worth Parrish

Worth Parrish, 73, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023. He was born January 30, 1950, in Wake County to the late Wayne and Mary Jones Parrish. Worth honorably served his country in the United States Army and was a self-employed builder, operating Worth Parrish Builders for over 40 years.                               

Worth is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Yvonne King Parrish; daughter, Teresa P. Lesley (Stephen); grandchildren: Jacob Lesley, Christopher Lesley, Andralyn Lesley; brother, Charles Parrish; and sister, Betty Sue Wood.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 1, 2023, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. A private family burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:45 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.

Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with medical and funeral expenses.
