Willie Ben King, Jr.

Willie Ben King, Jr., age 68, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 24, 2020.  Willie Ben was born in Wake County on June 17, 1951 to the late Willie Ben King, Sr. and Jean Rice King. He was a stocker with Automotive Electric Association and was devoted to his work and family.  Willie Ben attended Beulah Christian Baptist Church. 

Funeral service 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. Burial will follow at New Knightdale Baptist Church Cemetery, Mailman Road, Knightdale.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, January 27, 2020, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Surviving wife of 48 years, Alma Stamey King; sister, Lucy K. Perry of Zebulon; brothers, W. Larry King (Kathy), Wilbur S. King (Vivian); sister in law, Sheila King, all of Zebulon; A host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his brother, Willard T. (Tillie) King.
