William Dennis (Jr) Jenkins

William “Denny” Dennis Jenkins, Jr., 68, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021. He was born October 25, 1952 in Pitt County to William Dennis Jenkins, Sr. and Pearl Keel Jenkins. Denny graduated from Williamston High School, received a degree from the University of North Carolina and went on to earn his Master’s Degree from NC State University. He worked as a photographer at The Enterprise in Williamston; he also worked at the Employment Security Commission in Williamston. Denny retired as a case manager with Wake County Human Services. 

A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, 8400 Poole Rd, Knightdale, NC. 

In addition to his parents, Denny is survived by his wife, Gayle Stallings Jenkins; sons: Christopher Jenkins, Ryan Jenkins; brother, Andy Jenkins and wife, Janet; nephew, Matthew Jenkins; as well as numerous cousins and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
