Obituary

William Ira Garrett, Jr. (Bill), 77, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021. He was born March 27, 1943 in Newport News, VA to the late William Ira Garrett, Sr. and Katherine Jean Hargrave.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Surviving: daughters: Jennifier Tucker and husband, Terry, Kim Mowery and husband, Ray; son, William Ira Garrett, III and wife, Cindy; grandchildren: Megan Mowery, William Alvinza Scott Garrett, Nicklaus Landon Garrett, Travis Mowery, Steven Sterling Stafford, Savannah Sylvia Stafford, Brandon Kyle Tucker; great-grandchildren: Leland Hoyt, Kylie Hoyt, Krew Mowery and soon to be, Kalani Mowery; siblings: Steve Garrett and wife, Doria, Freddy Garrett and companion, Faye, Kathy Garrett; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his loving wife, Anita Sue Garrett; grandson, Ian Mowery; brother, John Garrett.
