Obituary

Tommy Oakley, 61, passed away Monday, September 2, 2019. He was born April 20, 1958 in Germany to Hildegard B. Oakley and the late George Henry Oakley. As long as his health permitted he was an entrusted mechanic who could diagnose and fix any automotive problem.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.

Tommy is survived by his mother, Hildegard Oakley; brothers: Johney Oakley, Danny Oakley (Kimberly) and Kenny Oakley all of Knightdale; as well as several nieces and their families.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Oakley and sister-in-law, Tammy Oakley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
