Teresa Gail (Clark) Watkins

Teresa Gail Clark Bowman Watkins, 60, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021, only hours after her loving mother, Joyce Horton Clark. The two walked hand-in-hand to join her doting father, Dennis Cade Clark, and enduring companion, Ringo, among a myriad of other family and friends who have gone before. She spent her career and life in general caring for others, and her compassion, fierce love and endless strength to smile through even the hardest of battles left an everlasting impression on all she met. 

She is survived by her husband, Jim Watkins; sons: Cade Bowman (Kristin), Heath Bowman (Alyssa); sisters: Denise Clark, Cindy Southard; mother and father-in-law, James Sr. and Jackie Watkins; sisters-in-law: Lisa Johnson and Terri Journigan (Buddy); many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and her special furry friends: Little Bit and Orange Cat. 

Visitation with the families of Teresa and Joyce will be held from 12:00 to 1:45 pm, Friday, November 26, 2021 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale and other times at 302 Rochelle Drive, Knightdale. 

Funeral services for Teresa and her mother, Joyce will be held 2:00 pm at the funeral home. 

Final rites for Teresa will be held at the Watkins Family Cemetery, Watkins Town Road, Raleigh followed by final rites for Joyce at the Clark Family plot at Knightdale United Methodist Church Cemetery on First Avenue, Knightdale.
