Tammy (Whitley) Price

Tammy Whitley Price, 63, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She was born September 8, 1959 in Wake County to the late John Henry Whitley and Peggy Boughman Whitley. Tammy worked in the restaurant industry, started her own commercial & residential cleaning company and eventually earned her certificate as a certified nursing aid. After a brief stent in that field, she was gifted with another chapter of motherhood & became a full-time stay at home Mom. Throughout her life, she enjoyed visual arts, playing piano, riding horses, skiing, riding bikes, fishing, writing, listening to music, spending time with her grandchildren & sharing laughs with dear friends & family. 

A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 11, 2022 in the Fellowship Hall at Clyde’s Chapel Baptist Church, 16657 Buffalo Rd, Wendell. 

She is survived by her sons: Brian Davis (Nichole), Bobby Patton; daughter, Susie Concelmo (Casey); grandchildren: Cassidy, Emerson, Geena; brother, John Vincent Whitley (Linda), nephews Jonathan (Nora) and Jay (Andi), great-niece, Avery, and many other beloved Aunts, Uncles and cousins. 

In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Kevin Price.
