Susan Ann (Peebles) Tippett

Susan Ann Peebles Tippett, 67, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020. Susan was born in Wake County on October 4, 1953 to the late Julius P. Peebles and Evelyn Rae Harris Peebles. She graduated from Enloe High School and married the late, Allen Glenn Tippett. Her working career included Eckerd Drug and Rite Aid, where she worked at the cosmetic counter. Susan was presently working at Lowes Foods in the deli department.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Oakwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC.

She is survived by her son, Darrell Lynn Tippett of Garner; brother, Lynn Peebles and wife Renee of Zebulon; sister, Sandra Kay Peebles of Wake Forest; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Peebles of Wake Forest; one nephew and five nieces.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth and Eddie Peebles.
