Steven Lee “Steve” Chappell, 66, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at his home. He was born April 10, 1954 in Wake County to the late Billy and Marie Chappell. Steve retired from NC State University as an Agricultural Research Technician.
Steve is survived by his nieces: Amy White and husband Shaun and their daughter Ava; Jennifer Kelly and husband Russell and their children Isaiah, Eli and Makayla.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Doug Chappell.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 8400 Poole Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
