Sharon (Pleasant) Kendall

Sharon Pleasant Kendall, age 72, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024. She was born February 26, 1952, in Johnston County to Milton and Christine Wall Pleasant. Sharon worked as a school bus driver for over 20 years, serving in Wake, Johnston, and Wayne Counties. She also enjoyed her job as a teacher’s assistant and working with children in early childhood. Sharon was a wonderful cook and loved spending time with her family. She was always up for a road trip and visiting new places. Sharon will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Sharon is survived by children: Lisa Sigler (Rick), Chris Rolison (Tammy), and Brian Rolison; grandchildren: Robbie Rolison (Katy), Tyler Sigler, Taylor Rolison, Grace Sigler, Kayleigh Rolison, and Logan Rolison; great-grandchildren: Kinsleigh Rolison and Braxton Rolison; father of her children, Danny B. Rolison; her beloved Yorkie, Baxter; as well as numerous cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond S. Kendall; sister, Deborah P. Williford.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday April 15, 2024, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.

Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Evergreen Cemetery, 3888 US 70, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
