Sara Jo (Richardson) Bowser

Sara Jo Bowser, 94, of Wake Forest, passed away January 23, 2020 in hospice care. She was born to the late Jesse Leamon and Elva Richardson on November 23, 1925 at home in Wendell, North Carolina, where she lived for most of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Michael) Terry and her grandchildren, Angel (Nick) Pace and Shane (Sandy) Brantley, as well as her great-grandchildren, Ian, Jesse Cole, Brendan, Serena, and Chance. Sara is also survived by her sisters, Fentress Cash, Alice (Jim) Swindell, Mary Jane Brown, and her brother, Walter Richardson.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Glen Bowser, and by her brothers, Bobby, Benny, and Jimmy Richardson.

In accordance with Sara’s wishes, there is to be no public memorial service. Her ashes are to be combined with those of her husband and scattered at sea privately, by her family.
