Obituary
Rose Hagwood King, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. She was born March 14, 1937 in Wake County to the late Bruce Hagwood and Lossie Watkins Hagwood. She dedicated her life to the care of others. She was Mom, Grandma and Miss Rose and loved by all.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church, 3328 Forestville Rd, Raleigh.
The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at the church.
She is survived by son, Thomas King (Pancheeva); daughter, Jeanna King Blinson (Tony); grandchildren: Brittany King, Kendall King, Brandon Blinson, Kristen Williams, Melissa Grissom; brother, Rupert Hagwood; sisters: Nola Lee, Margie Heath (Richard).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
