Ronald Alan Smith Sr

Ronald Alan Smith, Sr., 74, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020. He was born October 5, 1945 in Fall River, MA to Juliette Monast Smith and the late Joe Taylor Smith. Ronald honorably served his country in the US Air Force and worked at RDU Airport as an Air Traffic Controller for many years and then went on to be a truck driver which he enjoyed very much. 

In addition to his mother, Juliette, Ronald is survived by son, Ronald Smith, Jr.; daughters: Donna Bartley (Buddy) of Garner, Susan Brooks (Daniel) of Texas, Julie Jo Tant (Jamie) of Wendell, Rhonda Dempsey (Milton) of Texas; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Smith (Loretta) of Wendell; sister, Carol Morgan of Florida.
