Ronald Colman Gay, 71, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019. He was born April 30, 1948 in Wilson County to the late Herbert Felton Gay and Kathleen Honeycutt Gay. Ronald retired after 30 years of service in law enforcement with Raleigh Police Department and Wake County ABC.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale with visitation to immediately follow.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; son, Chris Gay and wife, Diane and their son, Parker; son, Brooks Gay; brother, Herbert Gay and wife, Judy; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church, 14551 Taylor’s Mill Road, Middlesex, NC 27557.
