Roger Branson Ridge

Roger Branson Ridge, 71, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 after a brief illness.  He was born on December 22, 1947 in Davidson County, North Carolina to the late Astor Venson Ridge and Beaulah Vensel Raines. Roger attended Trinity High School in Trinity, NC and graduated in 1966.  He worked for Colonial Motor Freight Company and Estes Trucking for many years and retired as an Estes Terminal Manager for the Roanoke, VA. location.

He is survived by his three children: J. Todd Ridge and wife Angie, Melinda Ridge Liles and husband Calvin, and Holly Suzanne Ridge, all of Raleigh.  He is also survived by three siblings: Phillip Ridge and wife, Nancy, Randy Ridge and wife, Angie, and Tony Ridge, all of the Triad.  Also survived by four beautiful granddaughters: Isabella Ridge, Lily Ridge, Lucy Ridge, and Stella Liles, and many nieces and nephews.                       

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his sister, Shelby Ridge.

The family invites you to bring a covered dish and share in a celebration of life for Roger on February 16th, 2019 at 1:30pm in the fellowship hall at Fairfield United Methodist Church, 1505 Hwy 62 West, High Point, NC.
