Obituary
Robert “Bob” Edward Craven, 66, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023. He was born April 24, 1957 in Wake County to the late Clayton Robert Craven and Sarah Becky McLeod Craven. Bob made his career in road construction with several different companies before retiring. He was the caregiver to Hayden Thibodeaux who had been living with him for a several years.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, Thursday, September 21, 2023 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.
A private inurnment will take place at Wake Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
He is survived by daughter, April Hand (Kevin); five grandchildren; mother, Becky Craven; sister, Teressa Craven Underhill (Archie); sister-in-law, Carolyn Craven; nieces; as well as great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Craven and special friend, Rhonda Dean.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wake Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Gentiva (hospice).
