Robert Lee Murphy

Robert Lee Murphy, 69, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021. He was born October 6, 1952 in Johnston County to the late Edward Lee Murphy and Pauline Mitchell Murphy. Robert honorably served his country as a radio teletype operator in the US Army. 

A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Hills of Neuse Memory Gardens, 98 Packing Plant Road, Smithfield, NC. 

Surviving: siblings: Peggy Allen, Charles Edward Murphy (Margie), Linda Williams, Bobby Murphy, Tommy Murphy (Nancy) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Wayne Murphy and sister, Joyce Gilmore.
