Robert Lee Eason

Robert Lee Eason, 86, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021. He was born July 11, 1934 in Johnston County to the late Braxton Eason and Annie Crocker Eason.  For years he was a self-employed painting contractor.  As long as his health permitted, he was an active member at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Raleigh.

A service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. Burial, Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.

Surviving: Wife of 68 years, Ruby Lee Aycock Eason; sons, Robert Steve Eason (Sandra), Ronnie Dale Eason; daughter, Ronda Gayle Eason Blackley (Mike); seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; sister, Judy E. Finch; sister in law, Gracie Eason.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Ray Eason
