Obituary

Ricky Ty Baucom, 65, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was born December 10, 1955 in Wake County to the late Edward W. Baucom, Jr. and Gloria Inge Baucom. He honorably served his county in the US Navy with 20 years of service.

A graveside service will be held 9:00 am, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144 with Military Honors. Masks are required to attend the service.

Surviving: wife, Cathy Mohn Baucom; daughters: Alexis Hodge, Laura Baucom; grandchildren: Caleb Hodge, Ashlyn Hodge, Carter Hodge-Hackett, Cameron Bender, Austin Perry, Alyssa Perry; brother, Harry W. “Witty” Baucom.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his brothers: Daniel and Jack, Sr.
