Obituary

Pennie Tant Brantley King, 88, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021. She was born June 13, 1933 in Franklin County to the late Samuel Kinchen Tant and Lizzie Tant. Pennie retired after 23 years of service with Square D Company.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Rocky Cross Holiness Church, 12524 Anderson Rd, Zebulon, NC 27597.

The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service.

Pennie is survived by her sons: Richard “Ricky” Brantley and wife, Lisa K., William “Willie” Brantley and wife, Lisa A. ; grandchildren: Beverly Odom, Amanda Faye Brantley, Ricky Samuel “Little Rick” Brantley, Justin Andrew Brantley, Clarissa Jarvis; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers: J.B. Tant, Earl Tant, Billy Tant, Clyde Tant: sister, Marie Tant Ray; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Pennie was preceded in death by her husband, Alec Clifton King; siblings: James Tant, Randolph Tant, Magalen Tant Lewis, John Davis Tant.
