Peggy (Allen) Parrish

On Wednesday, April 14, 2021 Peggy Allen Parrish passed away peacefully at her home with her daughter by her side. Peggy was born on September 11, 1942 in Four Oaks, NC. She was a 1961 graduate of Four Oaks High School. She attended Sherrill’s Beauty School and was a beautician for well over fifty years. She married the love of her life, Herbert Garland Parrish in 1969. They raised two children, Julie and Ron. Peggy loved her profession and her clients. She watched their children grow up to have their own children. She loved getting school pictures and Christmas cards every year as they grew up. She loved to go on trips with the Parks and Rec Dept. She just loved life and the people in her life! 

A celebration of Peggy’s legacy will be held from 1:00 to 3:00, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. 

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Parrish (Daylon Beasley) of Clayton; grandson, Bryer Rogers of Raleigh; son, Ron Parrish (Kay) of Youngsville. 

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Herb; son, David; granddaughter, Sarah; parents: Frank and Lettie.
