Paul Henry (Jr.) Schulz

Paul Henry Schulz, Jr., 85, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022. He was born June 13, 1937 in Detroit, MI to the late Paul Henry Schulz, Sr. and Florence Schumacher Schulz. Paul honorably served his country in the US Coast Guard for six years. He earned his master’s degree and worked in the administration department at the University of Michigan and NC State University. 

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens, 770 Stadium Drive, Wake Forest with Military Honors. 

The family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. 

He is survived by his wife, Lula Mae Taylor Schulz; children: Paul Henry Schulz III (Stephen Cronk), Scott Lloyd Schulz (Michele), Carrie S. Johnson (Len), John Henry King, Jr. (Teresa); grandchildren: Britney Linn Johnson, Hannah Cierra Schulz, Keelie Nicole Johnson, Zackary King, Alyssa King Anderson, Breanna Marie Smith; great-grandchildren: Aiden, Eva, Jackson, Kaylee Ann, Braxton. 

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Ann Lloyd Schulz; sister, Theone S. Secord; granddaughter, Nicole Ann Murphy.
