Pamela (Burnette) Wells

Pamela Burnette Wells, 72, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023. She was born July 8, 1951 in Nash County to the late Clifford Ray Burnette and Evelyn Bass Burnette. Pamela worked as a support specialist in the Agricultural & Extension Education Department at NCSU/NCFFA.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, November 17, 2023 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery, 761 E. Raleigh Blvd., Rocky Mount, NC 27801.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

She is survived by her son, Geoffrey Burnette and his wife, Anna; grandchildren: Megan and Ronja; and a host of beloved cousins.

In addition to her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Wells, Jr.
