Oscar "Bubba" Gerrard Cyr III

Oscar Gerrard “Bubba” Cyr III, 31, passed away suddenly Thursday, November 18, 2021. He was born November 16, 1990 in Wake County to Oscar Gerrard Cyr, Jr. and Tammy Jones Cyr. Bubba was a truck driver for ITC Millwork. Bubba's time here may have been short, but his love for Cheyanne and Kadence will last forever. It seems like Bubba and Cheyanne have been together forever. They started out as close friends but their love grew over the years and now shines the most through their precious and fiery little girl. He was the best daddy. Kadence and her daddy loved to fish and search for reindeer together. He simply and fiercely loved his girls. Bubba enjoyed spending his time surrounded by his closest friends grilling wings and tossing one back around a fire. He was a hunter, fisherman, and a kind quiet soul. 

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Sunday, November 28, 2021 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. 

Funeral service 2:00 pm, Monday, November 29, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W Gannon Ave, Zebulon. 

In addition to his parents, Bubba is survived by his wife, Cheyanne; daughter, Kadence; brothers: Alex Cyr and wife, Emily, Jack Cyr; sisters: Amber Hayes and husband, James, Trisha Cyr and husband, Mark; grandparents: Oscar & Marie Cyr; nieces and nephews: Elwood, Willow, Bowen, Olivia; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
