Obituary

Norma Murphy, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, 77, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 7, 2023, at her home in Swansboro after a long battle with dementia.

Norma is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charlie L. Murphy; her son, Randall S. Murphy; and her two grandsons: Andrew Murphy and Noah Murphy.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 14, 2023 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service.
