Mildred (Boyette) Moody

Mildred Boyette Moody, 86, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022. She was born August 31, 1936 in Johnston County to the late Kermit Boyette and Maudie Murphy Boyette. She retired as an Administrative Assistant after many years of service with the American Lung Association. 

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Bethany Baptist Church, 3417 Rolesville Road, Wendell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 am at the church. 

She is survived by her children: Benny Moody (Connie), Jeff Moody (Cindy), Allen Moody (Terri); grandchildren: Alissa Moody, Christopher Moody, Jordan Moody (Caitlin), Jared Moody (Niki), Jeremy Moody (Candace), James Moody (Stephanie), Jeff Green (Cyndi), John Green (Kristin), Allena Moody and Rachel Moody; great-grandchildren: Kinsley Riggs, Brynlee Riggs, Mason Moody, Emma Moody, Buck Green, Webb Green, James Green, Reagan Green, Preston Smilack; siblings: Joseph Boyette, Larry Boyette, Mamie Boyette Eason, Phyllis Boyette Stanley. 

A special thank you to her caregiver, Lisa Anderson for the love and care shown to Mildred during her illness.   

In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Phillip Lawrence Moody; siblings: Eugene Boyette, Douglas Boyette and Dave Boyette.
