Mildred (Thomas) Booth

Mildred Booth, 95, passed away on March 16, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Johnny Thomas; her husband Sterling Rawlinson Booth, Jr.; her sisters, Lucille Setzer Jones, and Elizabeth Wiggins.

She is survived by her children, Gail Brown (Eddie), Sterling R. Booth III, and Joan Vess (Robert); grandchildren: Jay Rawlinson Vess, Edwin Booth Brown (Jen) Allison Gail Vess (and special boyfriend Ryan Hoskins who she loved as a grandson); nephews: Ronnie Setzer, and Russell (Garland) Wiggins; many great nieces and nephews.

She taught her children about the Lord and lived a beautiful example of a life well-lived.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 24, 2023, at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612.
