Michael Thomas Sears

Michael Thomas Sears, 51, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Michael attended Enloe High School and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. His passion was dance and he travelled the world for over 25 years following his dreams. Michael returned stateside in 2013 and has worked as a server at the Carolina Country Club.

Michael is survived by his parents: Teressa and Archie Underhill, Alan and Brenda Sears; half-brother, Tony Sears; half-sister, Heather Schmitz and husband Mark; niece, Madison Schmitz; grandmother, Becky Craven; partner, Lucius Romeo; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends whom he loved.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s memory to a charity of your choice.
