Mary Anne (Vaughan) Hicks

Mary Anne Vaughan Hicks, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021. She was born February 3, 1934 in Wake County to the late Bernie Lee Vaughan and Ruby Pollard Hughes. She retired with many years of service with Acroprint of Raleigh. After retiring she enjoyed working in her yard and taking care of her azaleas. 

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 11, 2021 at New Knightdale Baptist Church Cemetery, Mailman Road, Knightdale. 

Mary Anne is survived by daughters: Donna Hicks Medlin (Steve), Jana Hicks Adams; son, Harold “Blane” Hicks (Peggy Jo); grandchildren: Ryan, Stephanie, Heather, Marissa, Earl; great-grandchildren: Sadie, Landon, Savannah, Maggie, Charlotte, Andrew; sister, Joyce Richardson. 

In addition to her parents, Mary Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Harold Hicks.
