Martha Ann (Smith) Moran

Martha Ann Smith Moran, 71, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021. She was born March 24, 1950 in Halifax, NC to the late Mack Ray Smith and Martha Jane Flora Smith. She had seventeen years of devoted service as a Teacher Assistant at East Wake Middle School. 

The family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Saturday, July 17, 2021 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, James “Jim” Moran; children: Ashley Janene Warner (Walter), Dara Anne Hodge (Anthony), James Robert “Bo” Moran II (Kelly); grandchildren: Ingrid Daniels, Aaron West, Jordan Hodge, J. R. Moran, Karolina Moran, Hayden Warner, Harper Jane Warner; and two great-grandchildren.

 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Ray Smith, and sister, Carolyn Jane Smith.
