Obituary
Martha Louise Caudle Carlisle, 82, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She was born November 18, 1940, in Union County to the late Jesse Marshall Caudle and Aire Love Caudle.
She is survived by her children: Deborah C. Kirby, Charles Gregory Carlisle, Cynthia C. East, and Denise C. Dutrow; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Maxine Hampton.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Levon Carlisle and daughter, Elizabeth C. Grant.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm, Saturday, March 18, 2023 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.
The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 6:00 to 6:45 pm at the funeral home.
