Marilyn Malone Antz

Marilyn Malone Antz, 83, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022. She was born March 31, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Andrew Vincent Malone and Helen Stegman Malone. 

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm, Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Beacon Baptist Church, 2110 Trawick Rd, Raleigh. 

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 3:00 to 3:45 pm at the church. 

Interment will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, May 2, 2022 at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC. 

She is survived by her daughters: Sally Antz Howell (Joseph), Penny Antz Howell (Andrew); son, James “Jim” Joseph Antz, Jr. (Margaret); grandchildren: Danielle Yarusso (Anthony), Jacquie  Brayer (Jonathan), Joseph Howell III, James J. Antz III (Alyssa), John Antz, Kyrie Moore (Chris), Andrew Howell, Jr. (Elizabeth), Jesse Howell; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Andrew Malone. 

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Joseph Antz, Sr.; sister, Joan Baker. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beacon Baptist Church.
