Margaret (Owens) Blalock

Margaret Owens Blalock, 88, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019. She was born May 5, 1931 in Stokes County to the late James Carl Owens and Lennice Hall Owens. Margaret retired after 25 years of service as a Line Supervisor with Square D Corporation.

The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.

Surviving: son, Michael Owens Blalock (Denise); daughters: Kathy B. Dunn, Janet Blalock, Carol B. Mangum (Ed); grandchildren: Samantha Mangum, Alex Mangum, Nina Marie Dunn Parrish, Phillip Dunn, Mark Dunn; great-grandchildren: Sylar Draughon, Brody Parrish, Brantley Parrish, Aubrey Dunn.                         

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, William Ira Blalock, Jr. and step-son, Robert Wood.
