Louise (Wilder) Johnson White

Evelyn “Louise” Wilder Johnson White, 102, passed away on her 102nd birthday, Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She was born September 21, 1919 in Wake County to the late Lee Hilrey Wilder and Lillian Evelyn Poole Wilder. Louise retired from Westinghouse as an assembler after 29 years of service. 

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh. 

The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, September 27, 2021 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. For the safety of the family and staff, facemasks and social distancing is required. 

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Louise Johnson Smith; step-son, Charlie R. White, Jr. (Judith) of Clemson, SC; step-grandchildren: Gregory White, Jason White (Angie) and their five children; brother, Freeman C. Wilder (Katherine); several special nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husbands: Clyde Demsey Johnson in 1979 and Charlie White in 2014; son-in-law, Johnnie Smith in 2000; brothers: Millard, Thomas, Billy, Leonard, Lee and Warren Wilder.
