Linda Jean (Hensley) Beck

Linda Jean Hensley Beck, 66, went to meet Jesus on April 19, 2022. She was born July 18, 1955 in Winston Salem to the late George Guthery Hensley Vivian Delphia Ray Hensley, one of eleven  siblings. She married the love of her life, David Ralph Beck on September 3, 1978.

We have heavy hearts but know that she is rejoicing with Christ and will be there to welcome us home to be with her for eternity when our time to make this journey comes. Linda, we love you and miss you dearly and look forward to our reunion in heaven when Christ sees fit to bring us home. Until that time, please look out for us and know we are anxiously awaiting our reunion.

Linda is survived by her husband David Beck; son Nelson David Beck (Elizabeth Bates Beck), daughter Kameron Victoria Beck; her wonderful grandchildren that knew and loved her as GiGi: Joseph David Negron, Michael Joseph Gossman, Jr., Colton David Beck, Braddock Dewitt Beck; siblings: Ricky Hensley, Randall Dodd (Jeanette), Louise H. Gentry (Phil), Debra “Debbie” Hensley, Viviann H. Gaino (Bill).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings.

A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Hephzibah Baptist Church, 1794 Wendell Blvd., Wendell, NC 27591.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church.
