Lillian (Viveiros) Rogers

Lillian V. Rogers, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2020. She was born October 10, 1927 in Fall River, MA to the late Augusto and Mary Viveiros. Lillian worked all her life as a sewing machine operator in Fall River, MA. She enjoyed travelling, Sunday dinners, and spending time with her family. In 2010, Lillian moved to North Carolina to be closer to her family and made her home at Robinwood of Wendell. She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughters: Carol A. Rogers of Knightdale, Cathy Rodrigues (Bob) of Wendell, Cheryl Perrotta (Rick) of Southport; grandchildren: Alan Towers (Irene), Jay Carvalho, Chad Medeiros, Corrie Carvalho Rogers, Brad Rodrigues (Naomi), Jonathan Rodrigues (Amanda); great-grandchildren: Caiden Towers, Noah Rodrigues, and Preston Rodrigues.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Richard F. Rogers; sisters: Mary Lindo, Belmira Enos; brother, Teddy Viveiros; and her companion of many years, Stanley Sarna.

A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family.
