Larsetine Pearce

Larsetine Wood Pearce, 92, passed away peacefully June 16, 2018 at her home. She was born April 8, 1926 in Johnston County to the late John Raeford Wood and Golius Narron Wood. Larsetine retired from the NC Division of Motor Vehicles with 37 years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.                                      

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Youngsville.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, June 18, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.

Larsetine is survived by her daughters: Faye P. McLaughlin (Robert) of Deltona, FL, Kaye P. Harding (Kenneth) of Raleigh, Vickie Pearce and Annette Pearce, both of Wendell; grandchildren: Donald E. Harris (Julie), Wendy M. Harris, J. Carter Holland (Erin), Kenneth D. Harding, Jr. (Alison); 8 great-grandchildren, and a son-in-law, Larry Holland.

Larsetine was preceded in death by her parents; husband and daughter, Carolyn P. Holland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hephzibah Baptist Church, 1794 Wendell Blvd., Wendell, NC 27591.
