Kristen Elizabeth Heyborne-Jablonski

Kristen Elizabeth Heyborne-Jablonski, 32, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 7, 2022. She was born September 27, 1989 in Wake County. Kristen was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, wife and mother. Her greatest joy was becoming a mother to her precious daughter, Penelope. Kristen was passionate, loving, and kind. She was exceedingly devoted to her family, her husband, Michael and many friends, as she was generous, big-hearted, and forgiving. Her mother, Patricia was her best friend and they loved baking together. Kristen had an obvious talent with cooking and loved to experiment with food. She was creative, loved various arts and crafts in diverse media. Kristen also loved fashion, fashion nails and experimenting with make-up. Playing “dress-up” was one of her favorite things as a child and it stayed with her. In many ways, she could be an adult without completely growing up. Those who survive her will dearly miss that spark of youth and passion in our lives. 

Kristen is survived by her husband, Michael James Jablonski; her daughter, Penelope Layne Jablonski; mother, Patricia Dyer Wagner (Donald); father, Samuel Albert Heyborne (Cindy); grandmother, Sally Perdue Stallings (Dudley); step-brothers: Trenton Wagner, Steven Fink, Edgar Fink; step-sisters: Laney Wagner, Kay-Tee Bowers; aunts: Kimberly Stallings, Joy Stallings, Mitzi Hold; uncles: Michael Stallings, David Ernsthavsen; adopted grandfather, Howell Jones; mother-in-law, Susan Anketell Jablonksi; brother-in-law, Andrew Jablonski; as well as her many extended family members and friends. 

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 14, 2022 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knightdale, NC 27545. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh.                                    

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm, Friday, January 14, 2022 at the funeral home.
