June (Carter) Walters

June Carter Walters, 80, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020. She was born June 13, 1939 in Wake County to the late Edward Carter and Sally Gay Carter. June was a business manager for a doctor’s office for many years. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced by the family.

Surviving: husband of 58 years, Bobby Clifton Walters, Sr.; son, Bobby Clifton Walters, Jr., MD of Greenville; two grandchildren: Benjamin and Claire; sister, Vann Zick and husband Carl of Wilmington; numerous nieces and nephews.  

The family has asked that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to Wake County SPCA or Transitions LifeCare.
